Richard Bynum

Like many who have a love for aviation, the aviation bug bit Richard early. Trips to the airport became an important part of his life. Upon graduation from college, Richard passed all of the requirements to become a Naval pilot except the eye exam. Richard spent the next three decades in the business world. In 1995 Richard sold his heart pacemaker business, and turned to aviation full time. The pacemaker business had allowed Richard to use a Malibu in his business travels. Richard became active in the Malibu Mirage Owners and Pilots Association MMOPA, and is a Past-President of the association. A commercial, instrument rated pilot, Richard also flys a PC-12, and is a member of the Pilatus Owners and Pilots Association, POPA.

Richard began Richard Bynum and Associates to assist the buyer in the journey of finding a good solution to the many facets to buying a plane. The growth of the business has been rewarding on many levels, but the most rewarding has been the friendships formed with the many clients. This has been a true blessing.

When Richard is not flying, he raises Whitetail deer in the Texas Hill Country.

Richard and his wife Carol live in San Antonio, Texas, where the next fiesta in never more than a week away.
